Mas Karolina is the passion project of Caroline Bonville, a talented winemaker who honed her skills with American and South African wines before taking on the challenge of Roussillon’s grand terroirs.
She dedicates herself full-time to the vineyards and cellar, crafting wines of character, generosity, and balance.
The team, led by Caroline, works closely with Hadrien, Pierre Louis, and Mohamed to bring the vision of the estate to life.
The vineyard is anchored in the foothills of the Pyrénées near Maury, where the dry Tramontane wind is a valuable ally in the reasoned fight against vine diseases.
The low yields from the sparse schist, granite, and marne soils result in perfectly concentrated, mature grapes.
